Bau - Bau located in Southeast Sulawesi and Fort Palace is located about 3 km from downtown Bau Bau. The fort was built in the XVI century by the people of Buton, made of mountain stone neatly organized with lime as adhesive material. In an age of empire Buton, this castle serves as a base defense from attacks of pirates and Dutch colonizers. This fortress has 12 entrances and exits, each of which has a name.
